Musically, this began in 2011 when I wanted to make a combination of Indian classical music and metal to retell the Ramayana, but that proved far too ambitious.
Conceptually, as an idea to combine various forms of metal with afro-cuban, Indian classical, and Indonesian folk music, it began in January of 2013.
Writing and production began in August of 2013 just before I began university.
The music for the main track was finished in November of 2016.
The transitions, effects, and dialogue were finished January 7, 2018.
The main track was mastered January 18, 2018.
The epilogue track was written, recorded, and self-mastered and mixed on March 10, 2018.
The main artwork was finished March 18, 2018 with the album logo finished March 26, 2018.
It’s been a long 7 years from idea to realization, but this thing is finally released as of today.
I present my longest and most complex work to date, Gore Cocoon.
